FAQs
Yes. Asia Bolts Industries LLC (ASBO) holds Saudi Aramco approved vendor status and supplies fasteners that meet ADNOC and other major GCC oil & gas operator requirements. Our manufacturing processes and quality systems are audited to meet the stringent compliance standards these operator’s demand.
Asia Bolts holds triple ISO certification: ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management). Our products also carry CE marking for compliance with European market requirements.
Asia Bolts has been manufacturing industrial fasteners since 1997, operating from a 32,260 sqm facility in Dubai Investment Park-2, UAE.
Asia Bolts exports to over 70 countries across the GCC, Middle East, Asia, and Africa, with a regional office in Dammam, Saudi Arabia supporting Gulf-based clients directly.
Grade 8.8 and 10.9 refer to the tensile and yield strength of metric bolts, marked directly on the bolt head. Grade 8.8 bolts have a minimum tensile strength of 800 MPa and yield strength of 640 MPa, suitable for general structural and automotive applications. Grade 10.9 bolts offer higher tensile strength (1040 MPa) and yield strength (940 MPa), used in high-stress applications like heavy machinery, structural steel connections, and load-bearing assemblies. Higher grade numbers indicate higher strength but often reduced ductility.

A2 (equivalent to 304 stainless steel) offers good general corrosion resistance and is suitable for indoor or mild outdoor environments. A4 (equivalent to 316 stainless steel) contains molybdenum, giving it superior resistance to chlorides and marine environments — making it the standard choice for coastal, offshore, and chemical processing applications common across GCC projects.
Nut grade must match or exceed the bolt’s proof load to prevent thread stripping or failure. As a general rule: Class 8 nuts pair with Grade 8.8 bolts, and Class 10 nuts pair with Grade 10.9 bolts.
DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung) is the German standards system, widely used across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia for metric fasteners. ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) governs U.S. standards, commonly specified in imperial sizing. ISO standards are international and increasingly used to harmonize DIN and other national standards globally. Most GCC infrastructure and oil & gas projects specify DIN or ISO standards, though ASTM specifications appear in projects with U.S.-based engineering firms.
Yes. Asia Bolts (ASBO) manufactures Custom to Drawing fasteners as well as special nuts, washers, and head bolts outside standard catalog dimensions, engineered to client specifications and industry standards.
Hot-Dip Galvanizing offers the thickest, most durable zinc coating and is ideal for outdoor, structural, and marine applications requiring long-term corrosion resistance. Zinc Electroplating provides a thinner, more precise coating suited to indoor applications and components with tight tolerances. PTFE/Xylan coatings add a non-stick, low-friction layer over a base coating, ideal for fasteners requiring easy assembly/disassembly or chemical resistance. Choice depends on environment severity, tolerance requirements, and expected service life.
Yes. Asia Bolts provides material test certificates confirming material composition and mechanical properties in accordance with EN 10204 (typically 2.1 or 3.1 certification), supporting traceability requirements for oil & gas and infrastructure projects.
